What is the best boresighting tool?  I am looking for something good for scopes and redots.  For use with ARs and bolt guns.

Best VS price, VS easy to use?

I use two different ones. For bolt actions I bought from Walmart a Tasco Boresight kit.
Its realing dumb simple to use, and Ill be dang if it zeros my crosshairs down close.
Got me to 3 inchs at 200 yards.
$10 (on sale)

For my Offset scope I had to get one of the red laser light in a cartridge types.
You lock and load it into your camber, then pull the trigger. The firing pin turns the light on.
Gets you in the ball park for 50-100 yards. Then you can figure on a few hours to hone it in with rounds.
$225

A spent cartridge with the primer removed has done just as well for me as the borsighting tools.

We tend to favor the Bushnell Professional boresighter for our walk in customers that want us to get them mounted. If we want to just just check the zero real quick, and don't want to mess with any arbors we use the Leupold Zero Point boresighter.

Here's a quick link to all the boresighters we sell:

Is there any risk to your barrel from using a bore sighter?  Can it mess up the rifling and cause it to shoot poorly?
take em!
