I don't think they have discovered exactly what went wrong yet -- or at least that information hasn't been released yet.  I enjoy going to airshows and I'm a big fan of the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds.  This is a very sad incident, especially since Mr. Davis' family was in attendance at the airshow when it happened.

I am a huge fan of the Blue Angels, Thunderbirds as well as our neighbors to the north the Candan Snow Birds.  These pilots are the best of the best and are a great inspiration for young people everywhere. Its very sad when we loose one of these fine pilots, to hear that it was his first show and that his family was in attendence is even more disheartening. Thoughts and prayers to his family as well as the team.
