I really want a 30mm tube, and I have read the many posts on 30mm brightness. I have looked through numerous 30mm at dusk and compared them to their 1" counterparts and TO ME almost all the 30mm seem brighter. And even the ones that have not been brighter the contrast has seemed better.

So anyway, i am going to the 30mm tube and believe it will be Burris, but the 30mm is available on both lines. Do any of you have recomendations with respect to these lines

On the surface it looks like:

Black Diamond can be had with mil dot and what Burris calls a target knob... Don't see it but O.K... and starts at 3-12 Power Scopes.

Euro Diamond can't be had with mil dot but has illuminated reticles and can be had in a broader range of magnifications.

What caliber and rifle is this going on?

I like the mil dots and 3-12 Magnification allot... But if this is for close and during dusk and dawn you might like the illuminated reticle.
