I thought I came across a seal on a B&L tactical for my 70's/80's tactical rig project.
The guy said it is a B&L 10X and inferred it was the 10XTactical that inspired the Bushnell 3200 10X mildot.
I was leery because the price was too good to be true, so I asked him if it was in fact a rear parallax adjustment 30mm Bausch and Lomb Tactical model or a Bushnell 3200 mildot, to which he replied:
"I have the 30 mm B&L tactical with the side parralax and the elite 3200 10 power mildot with the 1 inch tube, the eliete is on the AR, they are both made of the same parts but one just has a bushnell stamp on it"
I was sure any B&L Tacticals I've seen were rear not side parralax adjustment, and the turrets, although similar to the Bushy's, are a tad smaller.
Am I mistaken or is he????? |

I'm looking at the true, original Bausch & Lomb 10x Tactical and it's a rear parallax adustment, no side focus and it's 200yds then infinity on the range. I'm reading the article where the author has one and he refers to it as being out of production and as being called the B&L 10x40 Police Tactical, FWIW. I've heard that this scope was upwards of $1500 retail, but I can't confirm that in print. This is obviously a different scope than their new 10x Tactical.

Hello,
It looks like the knobs are all basically the same, but the B/L and Bushnell have those bronze discs. Also, it looks like the Xotic and B/L are both one piece tubes and the Bushnell is a 3 piece design if you count the turret housing?
Thanks, Chris |
