I found that link in American Hunter magazine.   The article was titled "Hunters Safeguard the Friendly Skies".  Essentially saying that there are way too many birds causing way to many aircraft accidents.  So get out that 12 gauge.

Atleast they had enough air speed to be able to try and save the plane and then finally eject. When a plane ingests fowlagra, it gets an ejection.....Bucky

In the last year the Air Force reported over 5000 bird strikes, and civilians over 6000.  Happens alot more than people think.
