Any input on binos for young kids?  5-6yo.

Easy to adjust and dial in clarity since a youngster will have to decide what is/isn't clear.  I'm thinking higher mag would be better to offset potentially poor adjustment.  I've been thinking about trying to take my daughter deer watching as the season approaches.

These models here would work real well for the youngters. The yosemite's are designed with children in mind and are actually pretty nice for the money. I think the lower magnification would be easier for them to use because of the wider field of view and the longer eye relief in general.imo

Yosemite's do come in a Pink Camo model.  Go for the 6x.  High magnification is most often not a correct answer, but particularly for kids.  The Yosemite is designed for kids from the outset.  Get her the Pink one.  That way dad might not steal it Big Smile,

One of these two would be your best bet.

Leupold changed their factory for these binos, so I think earlier Yosemites were a touch better than the current ones, but both are good.

Kowa makes these at the factory where Leupold started out with 6x30 Yosemites, so with current production models, Kowa has a slight edge, but the differences are small.

This is another good option, by the way:

Call Leupold.  Maybe they have a new shipment coming.  Little girls have their dads buy them by the pickup loads at the big NW Sportsman's Show in Portland.  That's just over not too long ago so they might be out.

Do  a Google search for Leupold Yosemite Pink Camo binoculars.  A couple of the places claim to have them.  They would be considered competitors so that's all you get.

Kowa, Celestron, Barska, Zhumel have near clones.

You can find the pink Barska version of the Yosemites very easily but.....

On the other hand I would also suggest the Bushnell 4x30 Xtrawides. My 11year old and 7 yr old fight over the one pair I have....over many 7x and 6x models.
