Anyone had any experience with the quality of some of the binocular/rangefinder models out there, such as the Burris, Leopold, Bushnell?  Thinking about buying a new set of bino's but also need a rangefinder, wondering if it is advantageous to get an all-in-one model.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not a big fan of these all in one bino/range finders. They're usually lacking the binocular half or the range finder half. The only one that incorporates 100% of each is the Geovids. It would be better to have two separate pieces unless you get the geovids.

I took a look at the combo bino / RFs before buying my binos. The combos are a "Jack of all trades... master of none."

I agree that it is better to have one of each that do the job well than one that does it all mediocre. That being said the Leica Geovids are worth the money, they serve as binoculars and rangefinder and do both very well.
