How do the compair? The sightron has a $75 mail in rebate so i could get the 3-9 for around 300 and i was wondering if it compaired at all to the conquest. the main reason i was wondering is because it came in silver and thats what i origionally wanted. ive heard good things about both and i just wanted to know if they are close at all or is the conquest a lot better?

Thanks

I like the Big Sky scopes quite well. Glass is good and (I believe) they have a hydrophobic coating similar to the Bushy Rainguard. The $75 rebate would seal the deal for me.

The Zeiss is the better scope.  It would be worth the extra $100 to me.

YOU WILL LOSE THAT $75 AND THEN SOME IF YOU EVER WANT TO SELL IT.NOT THE CASE WITH THE ZEISS.I RECENTLY SOLD A CONQUEST THAT I HUNTED WITH A YEAR.IT BROUGHT $675. I GAVE $700. ITEMS THAT HOLD VALUE ARE VALUABLE INDEED.

No need to SHOUT! Never said the Zeiss wasn't good. Well, I guess it's true...there is a sucker born every day. LOL.

Zeiss, Leupold, Swarovski, Nightforce and others hold their value very well.
