Happened to be a non-typical 32 point whitetail. I've been in shock all day about this big guy. Spent two hours grunting and cold but was well worth it. Taken at 125 yards with a Stevens model 200 .308 topped with Zeiss Conquest 3-9X40. Great day to hunt! Rough score of 32 points, estimated 190's. Find out in February from Boone & Crockett what the actual score will be. Definitely happy with him. Buck Fever has forever been inbedded into this young man!

Nice going Mike - that is one very impressive and odd looking rack.  Will be interesting to se what B&C have to say.  Any estimate as to his age?

Right now we are at 3 1/2 to 4. He isn't very old at all. I'm still in disbelief that I shot him.

Often wondered what causes non-typical racks.  I shot one many years ago that counted 10 points but had very wide palmated antlers.  Our local Lands & Forest estimated his age by teeth to be 7 yrs.  Yours is quite a bit younger so I guess age doesn't matter a lot.

Have another drink on us and celebrate young man!

If you bought that scope from SWFA dont forget to get a photo with the scope and that rack in the picture and submit it to the SWFA photo contest.

Thank y'all for the wonderful words. I still never thought in a million years I would shoot a buck like him. My father in law has caught a total of 6 more bucks running his property, one being a promising 12 pointer he will try and let grow one more year. Before he put a game cam up, he hunted elsewhere because he didn't know he had any bucks running his land at the house. He especially didn't plan on seeing that monster basicallyin his backyard. He paced from the stand to his back porch to be 400 yards, which is ridiculous knowing he has that many bucks. We are gonna try and see if we can't keep them there, and feeding them for the next generation of our family to enjoy hunts.

Nice buck A buddy of mine found a palmated buck smaller than yours under his stand dead last summer. He easily scored in the 130's. I bet you will be surprised at what he actually scores.
