I'm looking to replace the 6x42 leupy with a S&B, Zeiss or Swaro.  This will be sitting on a custom 270 WSM.  I'm thinking about 2.5-10x42 with and plex/duplex reticle.  The scope cannot have illumination.

S&B Summit, Zeiss Victory or Swaro Z6?

Would it be worth it to consider spending a bit more and look at the Leica ER series as well?  A ballistic reticle would be nice.

Zeiss Victory 2.5-10x42 with #4 reticle

I can think of no better scope.

I would pretty much have to agree with that...

If that 6x42 is an fx-3 I would be interesred. I don't want the FX-III.
Let me know.

If you are going to keep the rifle for a long time the Zeiss or the  Leica will be worth the price. I have worked with a lot of Zeiss optics and have used a Leica camera they always performed flawlessly. I had a Leica camera for year and sold it recently for more than I paid for it, it just the upfront price.
