Hello everyone!
Thanks for taking the time to address my concern. It is my hope to leverage the grand experience of this great community for some advice. I have roughly a $500 budget for a new scope. I'm shooting 7mm Rem Mag, and enjoy long distance target shooting. I'm not very good, nor do I have a sub MOA rifle *(Savage 111.) However this will change in the near future, thought i'd get a better scope first! I'm looking for the best scope I can get, maybe take advantage of a sale? Any advice is greatly appreciated :) Possible contenders thus far: Redfield Revolution Vortex Viper HS Weaver 10T Thanks!

I am not a long range expert although I have been shooting and hunting with guns from 23-25 to 45-70 for 50+ years.
If it were me, I would buy the gun first and then buy a scope that is best suited for the new gun.
Scopes are always on sale and I am sure you can find something at the right time.

What about a SS off the sample list ? Looks like several 10x42 for less than $400!

I got a Ziess off the sample list and could not be happier. My Savage 111 in .270 shot 2 to 3 inch groups with four different factory loads. Bought some dies and rifle shoots under a half inch with 4831 sc and nosler 130 ballistic tips.

What makes a Conquest "Superformance"? It is the only site I have seen it phrased like that.
