The best low light reticles in the Z6 lineup are the lit ones in the Z6i models.  Of the reticles in the Z6i series, in the 1.7-10X42, I'd recommend the circle dot, which is basically a 4A combining a circle and center dot.  It is very bold and works quite well in low light even without illumination.  I have this scope and reticle combination, and it is a low light machine!  If you don't want to spend the extra $ for illumination, I'd get the 4A.  I believe the outer posts on the 4A are the same thickness as the CD reticle posts.

i think the 4a is a #4 with the posts twice as wide which to me wouldnt be as good in lowlight, assuming the crosshairs are the same thickness which according to the subtension chart i saw they are....

Sorry; I meant #4 (without the "A").  Get so used to referring to that reticle style with the "A" that typing it happens by autopilot.
