Looking for a pair of good binoculars for archery hunting in Pennsylvania.  Often in low light condtions. How do these three compair? Or any other choises?

 

Docter 8 X 42

Kahles 8 X 42

Pentax DCF SP 8 X 43

I think the Kahles are the best.  But, as cheap as the Docters are being liquidated, it would be hard to pass them up.

Tough call but I agree with ranburr, for the price that the Docters are being sold now I would have a hard time dismissing them. Personally I prefer the Pentax to the Kahles though either would be an excellent choice.

Doctors are very good glases and I hope they never need repair because you're screwed if they do. Kahles are also excellant glasses and you can't go wrong with them. If you want glasses to make you a more sucsusful hunter, get the Predator 8x42- they are proven. It's your choice, hunting or birdwatching!!!

From you're list, I'd go with the Kahles, they're built like a tank. Pick a pair up and you'll see.
