Will it be just as good as most scopes in low light for deer hunting?

I'm not sure how to answer that.

It will be better than most in low light, as it has illumination and can be fired both eyes open; however, as it has no magnification, you get a 2MOA (or larger) dot, so the precision is lower than for most other scopes.

If it is a close shot, you are good.

Tracking a deer in the dark can be challenging.
