B.C. Outdoors is apparently going out of business.  This is a prime example of how a company can have pretty good products and flop.  The Docter line of optics and the Verona shotguns were good products for the money.   The problem with B.C. has always been terrible customer service and extremely poor management.  This outfit was rotten from the top down.  I never really understood this.  They were owned by El Dorado cartridges (PMC) and they apparently had solid financial backing.  They never seemed to grasp even basic business practices.  I have never seen an advertisement for any of their products other than PMC ammo.  The rumor is that Remington will be importing the Verona/Rizzini O/U shotguns.  These are actually pretty good guns at a real bargain price.  I have not heard who, if anyone will be importing the Docter line.  Maybe Chris and SWFA can bring them in like the Super Snipers.  I never bought a Docter product because I refused to ever deal with B.C.  It appears that my fears were justified.

I went to a pre-SHOT show BBQ hosted at PMC's facility.  The Docter scope were pretty nice but I've never seen them marketed effectively where I would want to buy one.  I think a company like SWFA would be able to do so and not try to rip people off like other companies would (although granted anything made in Europe is at a disadvantage with the Euro/Dollar ratio.....I got desparate for needing some sugar while deployed (for hosting different DV type events) and since the PX didn't have any for months I went over to our nato friend's area and paid $4 for 1 kg at their little field PX.

I second ranburr's motion on SWFA becoming the importer for Docter
