Just picked up this scope (New in the Box) and would like to know more about It. It's a 6-24x40mm, Bausch & Lomb, BALVAR by; Bushnell. Seems like an older scope, but the box has a bar code and is made in Japan. Any info would be nice. Also, it has Parallax adjustment. Never heard of this. I would like to understand more about Parallax adjustment. Thanks

basicly when you look threw your scope and it is blurred you can turn the paralax ring to get it to pin sharp focus, you can then use it as a range finder by looking at the distance on the paralax rix.
best to set your mil-dots up or keep it set at a certain distance and if it goes blurr you know you aint pointing at the correct distance which is shown on your paralax ring. hope that helps a little |
