I have always used a 25 yard zero for my iron sites and my Aimpoint.

How about you??

I zeroed at 36 yards.  Bullet drop is the same as 300 yards as is 36 yards.  My point of aim was the point of bullet strike.  I feel it's a whole lot more accurate.

Then a confirmation from 100 or 300 yards, with irons sights, EoTech's, ACOG's, PEQ-2's or PAQ-4's (infared lasers) and AN/PVS-17's (night vision with red dot).

50 yards is good too, but most of my shooting is out to 200 yards max.

So 25 yards puts me on a 25 yards, and back on at 225 and change.

36 yard zero....Sounds like the Marine Corp is talking there, Mithran.

"Marine Corps"

The problem is that M855 may have different ballistics do to bullet weight than Hornady TAP, Black Hills, Federal or some of the frangable stuff that police officers use these days, and things may not be the same.
