I recently purchased a couple of new scopses, Zeiss FL in the 4-16x50 and a Leica ER 2.5-10x42. scopes will be here Monday or Tuesday and will be used on my hunting rifles.  Leica will go on my 338 win mag and the Zeiss is going on my 7mm. I am having some trouble coming up with options in a picatinny base for left handed - wanted to go with this style for the strength. I was very intersted in the TPS but they do not make a left handed base. I was looking at TPS and or Badger but TPS does not make left handed and the badgers are 20moa which I don't think I really need or want. Maybe I am overthinking this a do not really need to picatinny style and good old reliable Tally's will hold up just fine.  Any thoughts on others experiences with some options would be great.

I have a LH 20 MOA Badger rail for my Remington 700, but EGW makes a ZERO MOA one and cost's less.

That help ya?

Ooops...sorry. You also got a long action.

TPS rings are terrific for the $$$. I prefer them to Badgers even.

Thanks

3-9x Super Sniper now, but I have had untold scope combos on this rifle. Those scopes will work with TPS, Badger, etc., LOW rings. Even the 50mm.

The only "bad" thing about using a Pic rail on a hunting rifle, is the rail obscures the feed port/ejection port just a tad and it can be a little harder to load rounds with gloves on, as opposed to a 2 piece base.

Even then, I much prefer a Pic rail to a 2 piece base. I feel I have more room to move my scope fore and aft and I feel it's stronger.

that is why I was wanting a rail. So your saying with the rail low rings should work with a 50mm scope?

thanks again for your help

Low picatinny rings, like TPS or Badger, etc.
