Barska binoculars are mostly bad, but i've seen a few that were not too bad, and others that were almost useable.

If you want decent binos, buy a Leupold Yosemite 8x30 or a Nikon Action 7x35  or 8x40. They are $100.

I own a Barska 30x80mm X-Trail lightweight giant binocular. I bought it because it was the "cheapest" 30x on the market, and I also knew that Barska has some of the worst quality control problems on the planet.

For long distant bird watching it is alot of fun, however, I had to return two, and I got the third one directly from Barska, in California. It was not a pleasant experience overall. The third one I received was not free of defects, but was more usable than the first two. I bought it with the understanding that I could not afford the better 30x binoculars that were on the market at the time.

Some people have been more fortunate than myself, in that they got an acceptable binocular the first time around. Frankly, I would advise you to invest your money in a more reputable company.
