I was just curious is Kenton Ind. was the only company who made ballistic turrets for the Zeiss Conquest. I have target turrets on my Conquest now, and havent had a chance to mess with it on the range yet, but in the future i am looking at putting a ballistic turret on it for hunting to make life easier in that ever precious moment before the shot, instead of counting clicks and hoping i was right, i would just like to dial the distance and not worry. Thanks in advance. Yippee

don't understand why you don't make the target turrets into a ballistic turret, by simply marking it. If the zeiss has numbers on the turret, this makes it even easier. If the shot is past 300 yds. your going to have more problems than the turrets anyway, (stable platform, angle of animal etc.)

I'd make my own using a label maker and taping it to the existing turret.  Could be made cheap and if you change loads your not out anything.  If you do Kenton and change loads, or conditions, your dials won't be on again.

Dang! I just put a piece of masking tape on the side of the stock, and wrote the number of minutes on it for each 100yds, past my 100yd zero.

Also a good suggestion, will definately get this figured out. I just need to practice practice practice. Longest shot ive managed to pull of was 500yds on a mule deer but i will admit that is was95% luck. would like to switch that to be 95% skill. Cool

I have Kenton knobs on two of my Conquests but little time or a range  to test them really. Last time I went hunting at my friend's farm I shot my .30-06 at 300 yrds with my Kenton knob dialed in and was 4-5" high. I think it would have been dead on at the 250 yrd mark , which I feel is way to big of a variation. I will probably just put the factory knob back on, the kenton knob won't do me any good if it is not calibrated right for my gun.

Got one on my .223 too, but haven't shot it over 100 yrds(with the kenton)yet.

they are the only readily accessible one that I am aware of..   There are indeed less expensive ways to do it but these are very nice and work quickly in the situation where you need one.
