Hello
The gun that i am putting togeather is a savage axis. With a boyds taticool stock. ershaw 16.5 barrel in 308 currently a 243, steel 20moa base, swfa 3x15 scope uso flip out bubble, I'm able to glass bet free float the action myself and i have allready done the trigger work myself. I didnt decide on a set of sturdy steel rings yet as im not sure what would work with this configureration but i want something pretty low. I wasnt able to find a 20 moa base on here that said it was for an axis. the cost isnt a real big factor a do it right do it right sort of thin if you will. a direct link would be apprieciated. Thank you Steve |

The Savage Axis is just the Edge renamed, SWFA has EGW 0 MOA and 20 MOA Picatinny Rails listed on their website, Stock # - EGW41802 for 20 MOA Stock # - EGW41800 for 0 MOA Tried to link it for you but I have a computer handicap. |

Wow, thank you. I checked out the Boyd's Tacticool stock I'll be ordering one tomorrow. I held off getting the Thumbhole
KkVarmint stock for it when they brought it out because it didn't have a vertical grip. The TC does and a butt hook. I'll order one for my Ruger also. A 20 min base will let me get the may range out of the 69 grkhpbt bullets. Unfortunately Savage saddled the 223 with a 1 in 9" twist. But my rifle is a half inch and better rifle as is so I want to see what it does with a proper scope and stock. Now to decide on the scope. |
