If you liked the book, I think you will love the "modernized" movie.  It plays on current events rather than the 1940's.  The characters are outstanding, very much like I pictured in my mind.  It is a stinging indictment of the current administration policies and the liberal mindset, in general.  It follows the book theme as closely as possible while set in the modern world.

It displays the timeless theme if INDIVIDUAL responsibility and effort, total dedication to the advancement of the entire human race through individual effort, the majesty and beauty of the human spirit.  This is probably my favorite novel of all time and will probably take over as my favorite movie "trilogy".  I can't say yet, only the first is out, but I love the first one and can't wait for the second installment.

Would that there was such a place...

I guess I'll see it, too, although I got bogged down in the book thirty years ago and never finished it.  I had read The Fountainhead and I thought that Ayn Rand was a little peculiar.  Nowadays, her strange philosophy is preferable to what kind of garbage we are seeing from the left.

Now we just all need to go out and read "1984" again and rent all of the films that were made from that novel..................before it gets banned for being " subversive".....!!

I'm waiting to see the movie (although I've not read the book yet).
