I've heard that the Pentax Pioneer scopes are the exact same scope as the Burris Fullfield II. Is this true? Can anyone confirm it?

I was looking at that and it just seems to be an incredible price if it's really exactly the same as a Burris Fullfield II. I don't want some Chinese knock off or anything like that.

Hey slow, this sight is sponsored by SWFA, and it is one the rules not to post links,or other advertisements for other companies that sell the same stuff as SWFA.
Now i have no clue about the scope! But Pentax is a quality manufacturer so I doubt it is cheap Chinese knock-off of a Burris. And as far as the price goes,SWFA offers a 110% price match. Try it, give a review.

Sorry about posting the link. I knew that rule as I've read it before and for some reason I just completely forgot about it. I posted this thread on another forum and just copied the post over here and just completely forgot about removing the link. Can someone remove it for me? I don't see a button that will let me edit the post?

I was just using that one as an example anyway to show which scope it is.

No worries.

I deleted the link.

Some Pentax scopes are the same as Burris and some are not.

I know that the production of their Pioneer scopes has recently been moved to China (Burris FFII is made in Phillipines).

I have not seen the Chinese made Pioneers, so I am not sure if they are as good as the earlier Phillipine made ones.

I believe they are the exact same scope. I had one of the older Pentax Pioneers and it was the same scope.
