Anyone had experience withthe Meopta and how would you compare it to Nikon Monrach or Burris Signature Series? I want to mount a 3-12 or 4-16 on my AR and don't want to buy glass again for this weapon. Mostlyua target/varmint rifle with a 24" bbl. y Budget is 3-400$

Thanks!

I know this is not as much power as you are thinking but the glass is great and the price is within budget and a lower power scope will be a lot more useful if you hunt varmits in low light or have a tactical need.  If all you will really do is target in daylight conditions I would probably put a 10x or 16x Super Sniper on it and have great tactical knobs.  I do have some high power  variables on a couple of rifles including a Bushnell 4200 4-16x40 which I really like with one exception it has 1/8 th moa clicks. There are usually a lot of Monarchs on the Samplelist that are factory refurbished which I have mixed feelings about because it they had been right to start with they wouldnt have needed to be refurbished but they should now be good as gold on round 2 right.  The Meopta Meostar is supposed to be very nice. There are several scopes worth a look
