In the 10XSS, 16XSS, and the 20XSS getting the new diamond MIL reticles added??

If not, then how about some retrofits and adding them to the existing scopes??

Any help or thoughts in this matter would be greatly appreciated!!

There are rumors of even more big changes...but Chris doesn't like to advertise until the product is out. All I can say is watch out...

I predict within the next 18months the SS line will grow tremendously

...now I'm excited.  Yippee  I'm looking for a few optics and would rather own more SS Optics if I have a choice...but really don't want to spend too much (...a few options in the 'I just need a quality optic with a few bells, no whistles' price range, please)  The question is...how long do we have to wait?

Well, as life would have it, I have had to sell my 5-20SSHD. I can't tell you how bad I hate this. I now have my 16XSS mounted back up on my 10PC. The Mil-Dot just don't cut it after tasting the wonderful new Koolaid of the Mil-Quad reticle.

Don't get me wrong, I love my 16XSS, but the world is a much better place in range estimation with the Mil-Quad... My hope is that there will be more offerings of the SS Line "REALLY" soon with the new reticle. With my eyes getting to be what they are, I am hoping the 20XSS will be out soon with the new reticle. I mostly shoot targets, so the 20X is going to more than likely be the next purchase.

Just a question, stick... if a company builds a 10x erector, why would anyone need a 4-16???  Why not just go with 2-20 or 3-30???

Would have loved to get ahold of the new non-illum 5-20... but the dough ain't there.

A retrofit reticle, or new line of SS10X, 16X, & 20X with the Mil-Quad reticle... PLEASE!!!!!!!

This would be great as long as the weight and size of the scope is kept low (within reason). A paralax adjustment would be nice too.

Is there a better optic out there today, at the same price point, as the SS line?

Every SS I've ever owned made me feel like I stole it. The new line is tremendous, but I still love my old 10x rear focus "beater". Big Grin

Come April or so I will have either a 16x or possible a 10x HD SS for my AR50. A 16x HD would be really nice though.

The 10xHD is outstanding on my 50.  You are right, though... a 16xHD would be super...

KB what ranges do you use your 50 at?

I would prefer a 16x SS but I have a suspicion that the 10x HD would probably show more detail than the 16x at the same distance. I remember years ago looking through my buddies NF 2.5-10 and seeing more detail than I could with my Leupold VXIII4.5-14x40LR.
