New question. I just purchased and mounted an ACD. It is mounted on my SS 10x42. Any opinions on their use.....good, bad, unnecessary? My Rem 700 has a 22 inch bull SS barrel, so I limit my range to 500 yards....maybe push to 600 on a good day |

All of my long range rifles have an ACD mounted to them. Rifle cant will change POI. The amount will vary with how much cant & the distance to the target.

To me it depends on what you are doing with the gun or what you want the gun to do. If you pay big bucks for a tack driver set up then by all means use everything available to your advantage.
If you are shooting deer it just gets in the way. |
