Santa bought me a new 700 VSF. I have a set of Warne rings and bases (2 pc base and low rings). Will they work for the Zeiss 4.5-14x44 Conquest I just ordered?

Thanks

With Warne it will be close, but MIGHT fit.  I almost certain I've always used Warne mediums for any objective bigger than 42mm.  As long as you have ANY clearance, you should be OK... no touch.  My 56mm ojbecitve Springfield Armory Gen III was mounted with Leupold medium rings for many years, could not slide a dollar bill between the barrel and objective, but they didn't touch.  Worked fine, never a problem.

Thanks Kickboxer, of course I will try what I have, just hate to wait on delivery of mediums if lows don't work. And will need a little room for lense caps.
