10-4 on that. Foley and his gal aide / negotiator have likely already got the deal done... announcement may be based on player notification at CSU or other "political" stuff. Looks like all of my "inside" info was without merit. Go figure.

This is getting mighty interesting.....
Now you have a coach that obviously wants to move on, a 7.5 million $$$ buy out, that CSU seems firmly set on enforcing, and Foley doesn't want to pay that and flys back to Gville without a coach. Talk about AWKWARD!

Not what I'd call a home run hire, but I like it. There's not really anybody out there that fits Foley's mold who's better than Jim Mac.
Hopefully he can get to recruiting and help save some of those 4 and 5 star offensive guys that were jumping ship under Muschamp. I haven't read the details yet.

Supposedly, he won't be coaching CSU in a bowl game so he can jump right in PDQ. Meet and greet in Gainesville Saturday. I think this may sway some recruits back into the fold. Time will tell.

His offense at Bammers took a very good Gator defense to the woodshed in the 2009 SEC championship game.
Mercy! His offense hung almost 500 yards on the Gators that day. He made Timmy cry that day...
