New here. My first post.

I've owned my PRO for 3 years.  I also own an H2.

I just purchased the 3x mag & mount to go in front of the PRO.  Took me a few days to pull the trigger, simply because of the price.  (It's not something I will admit to my wife!)

I am just wondering how Aimpoint can justify almost twice the price for the 3x magnifier as for the PRO?

(I know -- I am probably going to get a lot of answers of "because they can"Big Grin )

But seriously, IMO, the guts of the Red-dot have got to be a lot more complex and expensive to make than that of the magnifier.  As for the mounts, the PRO's mount is at least -- in amount of metal -- twice what comes with the 3X.

I apologize if I posted this topic in the wrong area.

Welcome to the OT forums Sloop.

Regarding your post, they are certainly able to place whatever price they want on their products. If the marketplace doesn't support it, then maybe, they go to plan "B" and lower the price or change the product. If you think it was overpriced for what you got, then why did you purchase it? I'm old and confused.
