Found a 452 trainer for $451.00 new, they also have a few t-bolts in stock.  I am gonna just look at both and decide from there.

It's hard to beat the 452 for the price for sure.  All of them I've shot have been very accurate.  I just got the T-Bolt because I like the trick little action.  My T-Bolt shoots to about the same level of accuracy as my buddy's 452, which is to say very accurate.

I remember the day you bought it.  In fact, I think I was the one who encouraged you to "pull the trigger," so to speak.

I can't find that model on CZs website but i'm willing to bet the difference between it and the Lux/American models are probably because it has a beechwood stock, different barrel length, differnet length of pull, sights or something other.

Ok, I picked up my new CZ452 today...I LIKE IT!!!...nice wood (only blemish is a dark patch on the left hand side of stock)...fit and finish is excellent...no plastic on it apart from the magazine...feels like a centrefire...nice weight and size to it...fully adjustable sights...i'm impressed!

I mentioned to my friend, who is a salesman at the shop who sold me the rifle, about the new model and he said that they've stocked up on the various versions of the CZ452 and so has a lot of gun shops over here in Australia!

Mainly the Military style sights and the Beech stock. The Lux has increased angle and some curve to the stock. The American has a straight comb.

Yes, that is a fair price, and it would be hard to pass up.

If I'm not mistaken, the "Special" had a Euro style, "hogback" buttstock and Schnabel forend.
