HI,

I do not understand why they do not make a 1x8 accupoint with BDC caps? I would think if they did it would be a great seller they could just use the triangle. This way they could keep the glass simple,I dislike glass to busy.Maybe someone here with some pull could talk to someone at trijicon.

Considering how exceptionally deadly my 1.5x TA442 is I dont think it is really needed. I can get sub moa groups at 300 with no problem and anything out past that you are better off with tactical knobs.  Where they need to improve is making a 2.5-10x50 with tactical knobs with a minimum of 70 moa of internal adjustment, and more internal adjustment on the 5-20x50 Anyone who needs more power than the 1-4 really needs to be in the 2.5-10 but the 56mm scares some customers off even though it is awesome in low light with a 5.6mm exit eye pupil at the max 10 power definately the primo low light scope.

HI,

1x8 would be great for room clearence and for longer range shots. If it had BDC caps that were set up for the round and weight of your cal what ever it is great,Ke3v

There are three different 1-8x24 scopes that were announced at SHOT this year: Premier, Leupold and S&B.  All three will retail somewhere in the neighborhood of $3k.

I suspect that Trijicon is not very interested in trying to compete in a very small marketplace of $3k scopes.  If they figure out how to make such a scope for one third of that, then they will market it.

Huh, I joined this forum today to ask about these very products. 3k is a bit out of my range though. I could get 2.5-10 and piggy back a micro dot for the much.

Good forum, I will be lurking around for a while.

I think a FFP, mil/mil version of the existing mildot models of the 2.5 x 10 would be an outstanding idea.

Yes they would, especially if they also included more internal adjustment that Wes commented on previously. To bad these steps would probably push the price of this scope into the 1800-2000 dollar range!
