I checked out an Accumark today and found the trigger to be quite bad ---- too much creep, over-travel, and weight. Everything else about the gun was top notch. I realize that the triggrers are supposed to be fully adjustable, but I was suprised to see that the company would ship the gun with that kind of a setup.

Has anyone had a similar experience?  If so, did you adjust the trigger yourself?

Next question:  For those that own an Accumark chambered in 270Win., Do you have any suggestions on what loads to shoot?  I plan on starting with 130gn stock ammo to see what works best.

I have a Mark V 270,and I started out with the top brands, at last I ended up with the 130gr Ballistic Sillertip CXP2. Great load and it will stop them in their tracks.

I have one Accumark and multiple Wby. rifles and every single one has an excellent trigger, to the poing I have never had one modified or adjusted by myself.  But, as any manufactured product goes, they operate on a bell curve, just like everything else and a certain percentage will fall out of the normal range of perfection.  Whether it was defective from the factory or due to shipping, there is a problem, if it is as you described.
