Got the 30mm AR Flat top mound, 30mm rings and 45 degree rail offset upper ring in today.

VERY well done!
I am quite impressed.
I am a sucker for clean design and CNC perfection.

John, please come out with a set of 34mm low rings!!!

I do not know if I would necessarily call it a love affair, but I have immense trust in these mounts.

Here is my reasoning: I have known Jon for a little while now and I have argues with him on a variety of topics.  Through those arguments he has shown the exact amount of attention to detail I wan in a guy designing my mounts Big Smile.

On a more serious note: when I needed mounts for the High End Tactical series, Jon loaned me several of his 1st gen mounts.  They were utterly repeatable and solid.  I had exactly ZERO problems with their performance.  I bought a couple and returned the rest to him.  I also suggested a couple of changes.  The changes were implemented in the 2nd gen mount (I am sure other people had the same feedback) which I have a couple of here and I like them even more than the 1st gen ones.

I am not in the business of testing mounts.  I like testing scopes.  Hence, for non-QD mounts and rings, I am slowly transitioning to Jon's mounts wherever possible.

There are plenty of other makers out there who make excellent stuff as well and I have used quite a few of them.  However, I have now had my hands on more than a dozen Aadmounts, so I have more confidence in them than in anything else.

I have been a bit busy and expect to remain somewhat absent for another month or two.

I am around though.

I hope to have results from a unique test set I've created soon.  Every comment so far has been positive. The Aadmount is getting high praise from some field users.

Hey Charles and Dan,

I'm glad you guys got the stuff and you are liking it.  I'm anxious to hear more feedback as the testing goes on.  This reminds me I need to get Brady the info on the picatinny cap so they can list it.

Yes, we do plan on making some 34mm stuff, but it will have to wait for a bit.

And everybody just ignore ILya.  He's joking when he says we've disagreed.  In fact, we agree on absolutely everything there is...because neither of us is ever wrong.  So naturally, when we both have the correct answer we agree on it....
