If you're like me, you sometimes leave a little CLP or some other protectant in the barrel. Or some other issue, such as removing the bolt from the rifle, will make for bad trip to the range or a ruined hunting trip. I'm good at forgetting to do things like run a clean patch down the barrel before heading out. So to overcome that, if there's any condition that leaves the rifle unready to shoot well, I loop this flag inside the thumbhole or trigger guard...anywhere it can't fall off or and can't be overlooked:

Uh, oh. Was it wrong of me to also borrow those bolts from around the tail rotor transmission shaft?
