Well I need to place an order in the next hour.  I am trying to determine if the 10 is that much better than the 8x.  The primary use will be for hunting.  It seems the weight will be the same on  either one.  The 10x is also only $10.00 more

Thanks

I find that my 8x binos don't really lose much in FOV to the 10x.  The Pentax SP 8x43s I have only give up like 30 feet (I'd have to check) to the 10x43s.  To me that is not really a big enough difference.  Just my opinion...

Do you mind clarifying that a bit?  An 8x magnification will always have MORE fov than the same make 10x.

That ZRS should do you a good job.  I have one and like it a lot.
