I need some information on which rings and bases would be good on a 300 WM 700 P or PSS (Haven't quite figured out which one I have).   I want a Picatinny base, and am leaning toward burris extreme tactical rings (30 MM) using a 16 X Super Sniper.  I need to know which height of rings I need given the appropriate base.

I believe I want warne bases, but am open to any of the Picatinny bases.   I have about 750 acres to shoot on down in South Central Missouri, so I'll be able to create a range with upto 2000 meter shots.   Not that I can hit anything at that range, but I'm sure willing to try.

Welcome to The OT!!

Burris Tactical stuff is good. You would need low rings with that scope.

I believe this rail will work with a long action Remington. It's got 20 MOA built in. The SS you have doesn't need it, but if you ever change scopes, the next scope may not have the elevation that the SS has.

I have this one on mine. Leave the rail on for life.

The problem I have with Badger is the cost.  I don't have the budget for both badger bases and the Super sniper.   What are some alternatives?
