I am not sure what bullet you are shooting but with 140gr - 150gr bullet at normal 7mm Rem Mag velocities 1.5" high at 100 yards translates to pretty much dead on at 200 yards about 2.5" low at 250 yards and roughly 6" low at 300 yards.

The highest point in the trajectory of the bullet will be at around 100-125 yards and it will amount to 1.5"-1.6"

All of that means that you should just keep it zeroed at +1.5" at 100 yards and you can comfortably shoot without any holdover out to 250-275 yards on a pretty small deer.  On a bigger animal, you can shoot without holdover out to 300-325 yards.

Another factor, what magnification? Your scope setting is good for anything up to 6x because the scope probably wouldn't be able to resolve more than this.

You need to check out the Ballistic tables on Remington's web site. Should give you a good general idea of what you need to know for your 7 Mag.

A 175 gr bullet will drop an extra 3 inches (roughly) at 300 yards.  If you are shooting at 250 yards or less you still do not need to worry about holdover.
