hi all, I just sent back my .410 nef pardner single shot shotgun to have them mount a couple of new barrels on it one 44mag and a 357mag and I was wondering what would be a good scope for them, being I have to buy 2 scopes I would like to keep them at about $150ish each. I will be using them for hunting , shots at no farther then 100 yards. I bought a bushnell legend I think it's 2x7-32 that was pretty nice on my 30-30 marlin, but I see that they are not making them any more. Well any help would be much appreciated.

I bought one of these the other day. It's nice and clear. The cross hairs are very thin which shouldn't be an issue with what you're wanting to do. I was really impressed at the scope for the dollar.

Is the diamond from vortex worth the extra money? I was looking at these two scopes  but want to get the better of the two. I like the warranty on the vortex but will get the burris if its that much nicer.

The Vortex Diamondback 2x7x35 would be avery good choice, another to think about would be the Weaver Classic V 2x7x32.  I have one on a Ruger .44 Mag. Carbine.
