4200 vs signature

Which scope is better for the money bushnell 4200 4 x 16 x 40 or a burris signature select 4 x 16 x 44 for my 223???

i would go with the signature, because of the ballistic mildot reticle its available with, and it has more elevation adjustments.

It all depends on what you want to do with it. 

I think Burris is better optically and has very useful reticle in teir Ballistic MilDot or BallisticPlex.  4200 has Rainguard going for it.

To the best of my knowledge both are quite tough.  If you are going to see a lot of wet weather 4200 may be best, otherwise I'd go for Burris.
