how many times are you going to ask that question by the way, you have asked if swfa will match the price twice now in two different threads that you started, i will tell you the same thing cheaptrick did. http://www.swfa.com/pricematch.aspx call them if you think whom ever meets all the requirements swfa asks for to get the 110%.
i cant find them anywhere for that low of a price, are you sure it wasnt an elite 3200??

well you will have to tell them where you got it and if they only have a limited stock available and run out by the time swfa calls to check on the availability and they are gone then no they wont match the price.

It seems it would sure be a lot simpler to just call SWFA and ask than wasting time talking about it here.

That's because you are more about "quality of purchase" than others.

I buy from SWFA NOT because of the price matching deal,
(couldn't care less) but because I feel buying from the good people @ SWFA helps keep this great forum going and I KNOW, that I know, if I have a problem, Chris and SWFA will be there for ME.

I have personally witnessed Chris Farris bend over "backasswards" to make something right for somebody that felt they got a bad deal on a scope, on this forum and others.
I like the fact that my money goes to support people like Chris and supports the shooters that use this forum to learn more about the sport we all love.

How much $$$$ is it worth to be able to log on this forum, ask an optics question, and to get a informed, knowledgeable, and friendly response or a link to a post in our VAST archives?
Even if "the other guy" has some kind of half assed optics forum, (most don't) does it compare to the knowledge that hangs out here??
In a word....NO!

I don't make a dime if a person buys from SWFA, a guy selling scopes out of the trunk of his car, or Sams Rootin Tootin Shootin Shack, but I can tell you all this...All optics vendors are NOT created equal!!
SWFA is the GOLD STANDARD in optics vendors and Optics Talk is the most comprehensive optics forum on the net...PERIOD!

Just my 2 pecos....Bandito

Excellent points Mark, Just my thoughts here but I've read it too many times in posts where someone will make mention about getting some money from SWFA. I'm guessing these people must also chase ambulances. MY TWO CENTS !!!!!!! Smiling%20Mad

if it sounds to good to be true, it is.  sounds like the case here, I couldn't agree more with what CT said, peace of mind goes a long way.  I won't buy optics anywhere else from here on out after dealing with swfa.  $60 isn't enough to make a fuss over anyway it's not like they're buying a Zeiss victory new for $1K instead of $2K.

I agree with others, That it sounds to good to be true,  there's always some catch to these stories, IE; Going out of business, Hot, Refurbished, you know the scenario.  By the way these deals make me very nervous,  about the time you figure out that you the shaft the company is in chapter 7 and your in deep #2.

I agree, The price guarantee is for LEGITIMATE prices that are advertised by competeing buisinesses. If people would Read%20the%20Manual they wouldn't have to ask, and take up time, either Chris' or anyone else's for that matter.

Simmons sporting goods appears to be a pretty big store.  I saw listings for several of them in the East.  I don't think the guy is going to get ripped and if SWFA will match the price then why not shop around for the better deal and get them to do it.  Isn't that the whole point to their 110% price guarantee?   He already got one from them so I think all is good.  It appears to me that all skeetlee is trying to do is offer them his business but he is a price conscious buyer like most of us are and he is getting ripped by everyone because he wants to use SWFA price guarantee.  I say go for it, if not buy another from Simmons $90 is $90.

I didn't mean to crack on Lee either and no super T, there's nothing wrong with asking SWFA to honor their policy. I probably would have called rather than start a thread, but no harm done. Smile

I'm just a SWFA "lifer" because theres more to purchasing a scope than price. At least there is to me....Shrug.

I'll say this SWFA does an honest buisiness, and IF you find a QUALIFYING product somewhere else they'll beat it. PERIOD If you doubt this DON'T be upset when you order it from somewhere else and you get less than you expected.

OK, but the point is, this is a discussion that needs to occur between skeetlee and SWFA, not continually trying to pit SWFA against a competitor publicly in this forum.  Nobody begrudges anyone for using the SWFA price guarantee, but this isn't the place to negotiate with SWFA on pricing, and it's in poor taste to do so here.  Plus, he hasn't received an answer from Chris of SWFA, because he's currently on a hunting trip.

As for your complaints, Supertool, they too don't belong here in public.  The problem you aired could have very well been nothing more than a simple mistake on an SWFA employee's part or a computer glitch, and now you're trashing them publicly without knowing whether your complaint is even justified or not.  Do you ever make mistakes?  You need to discuss this directly with SWFA, not in a post on this forum, and give them an opportunity to address the problem.  If the problem does not get addressed to your satisfaction, then you should send Mr. Chris Farris a PM and discuss it with him.  Many of us here have been purchasing optics from SWFA for many years and have enough experience with their people, their business, and their service to not put much stock into your complaints.  Other people reading this, however, may be discouraged from doing business with them because of your comments, which may not be well-founded.

Also, keep in mind that the whole reason you are able to post here on this forum is because SWFA PROVIDES it for us, so I think it's only proper that we treat our hosts with courtesy, as you would like to be treated if you owned the forum and the company.

We got it, Lee!!!

We all understand the need to save money!  The point is not that you shouldn't shop around for the best deal.  The point is, this site you happen to be posting on IS PROVIDED TO YOU BY SWFA!  The "SWFA moderator" you seek to address your question is on a hunt in Mexico at the moment.  Just because you haven't received a response from them RIGHT NOW doesn't mean one isn't forthcoming, and even if you don't get a response, it's not cool to use their forum that they provided for our use to pass along info about deals at their direct competitors, not to mention, it is a violation of the forum rules.  So, if you found a deal that you're excited about, ROCK ON, BROTHER, but you need to address your grievances directly to SWFA, not air them in public.  Call them and talk directly to a real person, don't send an email, as I'm sure they get tons of emails that takes time to answer.
