Well, I missed the Vortex Viper 4-12 side focus for $240, so now I need some advice.  I want to keep the total to no more than about $300.  The scope will go on a CZ 452 and will be used for hunting and target shooting.  I want 3 or 4 on the low end and 12 on the high end.  Here is what I am considering, can anyone comment on these various scopes:
Vortex Diamondback 4-12 AO, about $289 (hard for me to do this when the better viper could have been had for $50 less)
Sightron SI II 3- 12 AO (not big sky).  About $295 after rebate and has the advantage of going to 3x on the low end.  How do the optics compare?
Swift Premier 4-12 AO.  $208 or less.  Havent read much about these, but the price is pretty good.  How are the optics?
Nikon Monarch 3-12 side focus.  Can be had for about $350 (a bit more than I want to spend unless it is significantly better.).  How does it compare to the Sightron.
Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14 AO  $289.  A bit more magnification than I think I want for a hunting 22, but how does it compare optically?
