Trying to fine tune my AR-15 at 100 yards and it seems like when I adjust the wind-age it effects my elevation. I have not problem with that if it was not erratic. I have tapped on the turret and worked through the adjustment, but it really drives me nuts. In fact, I'm not sure it not temperature sensitive.
Are the wires touching each other and friction is causing the erratic adjustments?
Has anyone experienced this? |

The wires are not supposed to be moving with respect to each other. They should be moving together as a whole unit when adjusted. What you are describing sounds like a classic reason why people discard their Tascos and buy something else.

I know what your saying koshkin, I have some excellent optics for hunting rifles, but I was think of replacing it as soon as I can find something for follow-up shots on Coyotes. What do you think about the Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T 1-4? The one with the Illuminated Circle Dot.

It is a nice scope, although it would not be my top choice.
I would take a good look at IOR 3x25 or 1.1-4x26 if you are looking for something like this. Good glass makes up for low magnification and the redesigned CQB reticle is calibrated to have holdover marks for 223. ILya |
