How so?

You mean with the T1 being set up on the off side?

Yeah, looks like a righty set up. Any I have ever used, the scope rotates toward your opposite shoulder (inward) so you use your dominate eye on the offset sight.

Maybe he is left-hand, right-eye.

Or maybe he didn't really spend too much time considering where it should go and how it will function.

Maybe.

No, I have tried both sides and have found that mounting the Micro on the off side, allows me to merely shut my left eye and look through the Aimpoint with my right eye and maintain a good cheek weld.

The other way, I have to look up and don't have a good cheek weld like I do mounting it on the off side.

I don't know. I'm like you, every one I've ever seen are mounted on the same side as the shooters dominate eye. I tried that, but found if it's mounted on weak side and I just close my dominate eye, the dot is right there and I don't have to lift my head up, like I do with it mounted on the other side.

I may have to do a little experimenting on this.

Everything I have ever done like this was on an AR though...

Head position on different set ups is probably going to be the key.

I think there are probably better/different mounting options for the Micro, than what I have, but I also mounted a Sure Fire Flash light to this Badger mount on my rifle last year on a hog hunt.
Glad I did too. It worked well.

Ive got one of the Badger rings with the rail on top from several years ago when they first came out but I still have not gotten around to putting the dot on the rail. Seems like something else always needs a scope first.
