Hey I have found that it is fairly hard to find 35mm scope rings. I want to find some good ones but the only ones I can find are free with scope which seem they will be good (come with the IOR scope) but wanted better. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I "think" the freebie 35mm rings that come with the IOR are TPS. TPS rings are outstanding and I own 2 sets. Based on my experience, I'd go with them.

Seekins Precision makes 35mm rings as well.

Make sure you go with a good quality Picatinny rail too. I like Badger Ord, but there are others.

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

Thanks alot I was hoping to get some Badger Ord for the scope but if these included rings work ill try them out. Just wanted some sturdy to keep my scope tight when firing a .338 lapmag :)

Badger makes 34mm rings, but not 35mm ones.
If you have any questions about the ring install, just hit me with a PM or post back on this thread.

Good luck!!

I don't usually answer "airsoft" questions but, since you're asking about scope rings I'll answer this one. If you're mounting a 50mm objective, you better get high mounts, if not, it won't clear the gun.

The IOR rings are plenty sturdy as cheaptrick stated. But if you want something to compare to you can look at US Optics as well. They are expensive but you will have no issues with failure. Also I think SWFA has Stanag in 35mm listed under IOR. Good Luck!

The IOR rings are very strong.  Seekins are a little wider so they will grip the scope a little more.  But I would not worry about the IORs not being strong enough.

The advantage to the Seekins is they are more sleek because they do not have the nut hanging off the side.

Seekins also makes some rings with 3 ring cap bolts as well.  That might be the ticked for what you are seeking.  I would call Glen up and see what he can do for you.

That is not necessarily true.  Because of the large tube size of the 35mm IORs many times low rings will still work with the 50mm objective.  I had low rings on my 6-24x on a FN SPR and it cleared just fine.

But granted that will depend some upon how the gun is set up and barrel contour and such.

35mm tube, 50mm objective.  Low IOR rings

In my case, the nut is hanging off the back. Smile

I have the Seekins lows in 34mm with a 50mm objective and on a heavy barrel Rem. 700 with a 20 MOA base the objective and it clears more than a quarter inch. However, the beefy lens cap takes that down to 1/8". So I wouldn't reject low rings without first checking with the manufacturer or vendor.
