Well I did it, I ordered a Bushnell 3200 3x9x40. It was hard to decide between the buckmaster, 3200 or fullfeild 2. I hope I made a good decision.

The fullfeild 2 and buckmaster are definitely better, but we are talking different price range. IMO any one of those three is a good deal for the money.

I would disagree I have had experience with all 3 and would take the 3200 everytime. You can't beat the 3200 for $164 IMHO. You made a great choice and will be very happy with your new scope. Let us know how you like it!

I agree, I like the 3200, or at least find it to be the equal.  Fine choice, you will not be disappointed.

i dont know if i am a weird-o or what, but when i look through a ff2 and a buckmaster the ff2 looks brighter and clearer to me than the 3200 and the buckmaster i own 3 buckmasters and one ff2 and the ff2 does look clearer, but my one buckmaster has killed more deer than all my other scopes combined and its been on every rifle i own, to me the 3200 and the buckmaster are a dead heat, so as long as the 3200 holds up over time and holds its zero i cant argue with your choice!

I've had both the 3200 and buckmaster scopes. I personally did not like the 3200 at all. I have owned a Bushnell Trophy that was better in low light conditions than the 3200. The buckmaster line of scopes are good scopes for the money. Too bad you could have gotten a Nikon Monarch 3-9x40 for $203.95 right here at SWFA.

What does the UCC mean on the Monarch? Why are these Monarchs cheaper than most places charge for a Buckmaster?

UCC means ultra clear coat.

monarchs are currently on sale at SWFA, but I don't know for how long.
