I am looking to upgrade to a nicer scope. I currently have a B&L Elite 2000 3-9x40. Is there a significant advantage the 30mm has  over the 1" tubes in clarity, light gathering, or whatever? I've been told yes and no. What exactly do you gain with  the 30? I am leaning towards the Kahles 3.5-10x50, Swarovski AV 3-10x42, or Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10x50 (all 1").  Any input, advice, and opinions are appreciated. Thanks.
