Hello everyone, this is my first time posting here. I was very happy to find out that there is a site dedicated to optics. I have a CZ 527 varmint Kevlar in .223 that I use mainly for varmint hunting and some target shooting. I plan on purchasing one of the SS10x42 scopes and I was going to go with Warne x-high 30mm rings but Warne has now discontinued the rings for the CZ 16mm dovetail. Does anyone out there know of another good quality ring on the market that will work for me. It needs to be extra high due to the bolt handle clearance issue that these rifles are known for. Thanks in advance! |

I'm sorry that I don't know much about CZ's.
But welcome to the forum anyway... |

Leupold and Burris make rings for the 527 but just in 1".

Warne makes CZ 30mm and 1" rings for both 527 (16mm rail) and 550 (19mm rail).
I've used the 550 rings as well as Warne Maxima and they are of uniformly excellent quality.

Warne still offers 30mm rings for both the 527 and 550 CZ rifles. The only thing that was dropped were the "Extra High". The only real problem with the CZ rifle is the bolt handle clearance
