It might not be your top choices. but they are mine for the price range lol. As I have stated before im looking for a scope around the 3-500 range. this is going to be a varmint scope for a .223 and i want the recticle to have cross hatches or circles on the  bottom verticle line of the recticle. I do not want mil-dots.

So far theese are my choices I have found;

Im really the most intrested in the nitrex and the weaver. I know weaver makes nitrex or atleast use too. Im leaning towards the weaver classic v the most since it has a .223 recticle in the scope but i know nothing of the quality. any input on any of theese scopes or theese two i have just stated here would be appreciated. I just dont want to buy junk. money is hard to come by for me.

I would probaly go with the leoupold because i have never had a bad product from them and i have had bad experiences with some of the others. The only drawbacks i see is the price is a little high in the group and the paralax adjustment is on the bell instead of the side, but that is certainly something you can live with, i do with some of mine.

I am always skeptical of a BDC reticle because they are only correct for a specific barrell, load, and temperature, but they can get you close to target.

Out of your choices, Nikon and Nitrex are better than the other two.  Weaver Classic V are nice scopes and compete well against Leupold VX-II, but are not in the same league as the other two scopes here.

Personally, I also really like Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 which is now available for $500.  6.5-20x44 version of this scope runs about $100 cheaper or so.
