I am thinking of trying out using a 150 grn bullet out of my Tikka T3 300 WSM for elk hunting in either the Barnes TTSX, Hornady GMX or Interbond, and Nosler Accubond, do you think it would be any trouble for me to take down a Spike elk with any of those 150 grn bullets loaded with either RL17, RL19 or IMR4350.

i shot rl19 with 180gr bullets out of my 300wsm. it shot a house of fire. 66.7 grains of rl19 and 180gr sierra prohunter. i know 150gr bullets will work on elk, its all me and my dad ever used in our 30-06's and 30-30's. i will say that i feel it defeats the purpose of a magnum sized case to use anything lighter than 165gr for elk. for deer, 150-165gr is perfect.

The 150s you listed should do great, and shoot nice and flat.

150s will do just fine.  I prefer the heavier bullets, but you will not have any trouble knocking down any elk with those bullets.

My personal choice would be the Barnes TTSX.  They should have the best penetration of the bullets mentioned.  In my experience you get a better blood trail if you have an exit wound.
