Is the Burris Euro diamond a true 30mm scope? Is the reticle in the first or second focal plane ? Any opinions on which is brighter and which scope has better resolution ( Nikon Gold 30mm or the Burris Euro diamond )
How do these scopes rank against Ziess, Swarovski, Kahles and the other European riflescopes?
Any facts or personal opinions are welcome.

Burris just started shipping the new Euro Diamond scopes so you won't get any real world testimonies yet. They are true 30mm 2nd focal plane scopes. Our first impressions are good. I like the 4x magnification (3-12 instead of 3-9) and the whole eye piece turns to change power so you can just grap it and turn in a hurry. |
